lyrics

You're probably right, building lights on a silver street spill into the night and pull the stars from the city's scene and they might have stayed down. I like the sound you make on the shore I feel you break as you wash away prints we made from each step we take. The ocean will make salty kissers of us all. I might have been gone, I might given my goodbyes, the stars so neatly drawn, I will hang them back into the night sky. it must have been nice to be so tightly sewn into your dreams and slip out of sight, pull a thread from the city's seam.
